Michelle L. Auer, BS
Director of Business Development, Marketing and RTF Coordinator
Michelle has been working in the Behavioral Health field for the last 25 years focusing solely on working with children and adolescents. She received an Associate’s Degree in Child Development and a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. Michelle has held various roles such as Case Management, Supervisory positions, Assistant Director of Admissions and Marketing for WPIC, HSAO and MHY Family Services. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with County Stakeholders, Community Provider Agencies, Children Youth and Families (CYF) and Juvenile Probations Services (JPO). These relationships have allowed her to continue to assist families and their children to find the appropriate behavioral health services. Michelle began her journey with Southwood in October of 2014 as the Director of Marketing and is currently performing the duties of Director of Business Development, Marketing and RTF Coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years and their son. She also enjoys crafting, watching football and traveling.
